Hands down, the best pure bakery in Lake Charles. Cakes are dynamic and unique. They are sugary, but it's a cake, in the USA. The cookies are great too

Many years ago my workplace would oftentimes get catering from Pronia's Deli for lunch meetings but I never followed up on visiting their physical location until recently, when coworkers and I decided to stop by after our first choice was not open. This deli is relatively small and out of the way with a little parking area, and they seem to focus mostly on their catering business. The menu was quite diverse, and includes everything from sandwiches to spaghetti to tamales. I ordered a half muffuletta sandwich with a drink and an M&M cookie (about everything is a la carte here). The service was very friendly, and there is a cozy dining area that is shared with a catering desk. The food came out quickly. The sandwich was fresh, made to order, and just wonderful. The cookie was also tasty. They serve Coca Cola products at Pronia's Deli. Overall, I will start coming back here. This deli is nondescript and doesn't really stand out but is quite a hidden gem in Lake Charles!
